some videos from our farm and about the icelandic horses, we have a beutiful old familystory that goes back to the year 1886, we are one of the oldest breedingfarm in the history same family and same place, explain how we heat up our houses with a hot water and the beautiful history of the first geothermal heating system in Europe 1907 made here at Sturlureykir, talk about our underground bakery and how we can use the steam to cook our delicious homebaked ryebred.\u00a0 \u00a0Then we welcome everyone to our stables, we have two stables to go in,\u00a0 meet the horses, pet them, give them some food, take videos and photos, make a beautiful memory a &#8220;selfiehorsephoto&#8221; is a must.\u00a0 We take a look at our underground bakery explain how it works to steamcook and bake a home made ryebred and ofcourse we go and see our beautiful hot spring the first geothermal heating system in Europe 1907 and explain how the water runs downnhill automatic to our houses, stables and coffehouse.<\/p>\n<p>In the coffehouse after the farm tour eveyone are offered hot chokolate, coffee and ofcourse our delicious homebaked ryebred.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Price: 2500,- isl kr per person<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Horsebackride<\/h1>\n<p>Open all year around, but ofcourse depends on the weather specially in the winter time, icelandic weather can sometimes be a little complicated.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome our guests in our coffehouse, before the ride we have helmets, gloves if needed then we go to the stables and we pick one of our beautiful horse for you,\u00a0 we walk together with the horses to the ridinghall, give us a little time in there to brush our horses, put saddles, step on and take care of that legs and stirrups are correct for each rider and everyone feel good in the saddle, everyone have some informations if needed how to ride before we go together out for a beautiful ride belong our river, in the ride you can experience our beautiful nature, see some hot spring in the river and make a beautiful memory .\u00a0 When we come home again after the ride we end in the riding hall, step of the horses, take saddles off and we always give our horses some special horsecandy after every ride.\u00a0 We take a short walk with our riders to take a look at our underground bakery and our hot spring, then we go to the coffeehouse and everyone can have a coffe or a hot chokolate and ofcourse a taste of our delicious homebaked ryebred.<\/p>\n<p>Ridingtour is about one hour\u00a0 the price is 12.000,- isl kr per pers.<\/p>\n<p>Make sure to book your
